The Ask: Create a campaign that reinstills the American people’s trust in the New York Times

The Story: No Exemptions is a project I worked on for the 2020 Young Ones competition. For this project, we realized that while trust in the mainstream news media is at an all-time low, people trusted companies who proved that they had nothing to hide. Transparency and honesty are at the core of the journalist’s creed, and No Exemptions was a way for the people at The NYT to set an example and demand nothing less than the truth from our country’s most powerful leaders.
